Our previous speaker, Lorna Mulligan is giving a calligraphy workshop. Lorna Mulligan is a visual artist, calligrapher and teacher living in Montreal. She studied at the University of British Columbia and at the Banff Centre School of Fine Arts. Her watercolors and mixed media artwork have been exhibited across Canada, in the United States and in Europe. She is represented in numerous public and private collections. Lorna was a member of the contemporary calligraphy collective, Les Calmars, throughout the twelve years of its existence. In her artwork, Lorna continues to be inspired by the chaos in nature and the beauty of letterforms.
