The McGill Libraries, the McGill Visual Arts Collection, the Department of Art History and Communication Studies, and the Centre International d’Art Contemporain are pleased to invite you, on Thursday, November 16, 2023, to a lecture by special guest scholar Professor Abigail Susik of Willamette University celebrating the creative life and work of artist and dancer Françoise Sullivan. The lecture, entitled “Trance, Dance, and Surrealism: Françoise Sullivan & Les Automatistes in World War II-era Montréal” will take place in Moot Court, Chancellor Day Hall, 3644 rue Peel, Montreal, at 5:30 p.m. This will be a hybrid event, with online attendance possible.

Daniel Goldstein is a San Francisco based artist originally from New York. His woodblock prints, collages and sculptures have been exhibited in leading galleries and museums throughout the world.
